Income Tax exemption limit for working women
In Rajya Sabha on 8th July 2014, Minister of State for Finance Shrimati Nirmala Sitharaman said in a written reply to a question about raising of relaxation limit of Income Tax for working women employees as follows…
“Any such proposal can be considered only during the Annual Budgetary exercise. The Budgetary exercise for the year 2014-2015 is currently under progress. Government’s response in this regard shall be reflected in the Finance (No.2) Bill, 2014″.
